Heather Wallace ’26 (she/her) is pursuing her B.M. in Vocal Music Education at St. Olaf College. A proud native New Yorker, Heather attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music and Art and Performing Arts as a Vocal Major where she participated in opera productions and received the Isidore Russ Music Education Award. She currently sings Alto 2 in the St. Olaf Choir and while she is a choir kid at heart, she can also be found ringing handbells in the St. Olaf Handbell Choir.
She has multiple leadership positions within the St. Olaf community and elsewhere. Heather is currently a Teacher’s Assistant for Music Theory, the Usher Manager for Music Organizations and the Handbell Scholar at St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield. This summer, Heather was a choral scholar at the Saint Thomas Boys Choir School Girls Chorister Course in New York City. After college, Heather hopes to pursue a masters in conducting and teach in a public high school while uplifting all voices and creating an engaged community wherever she goes. When not practicing, Heather loves thrifting for new clothes, drinking iced lattes and listening to music with her friends!
